Program in java having its all features

Creating a Java program that showcases all of its features would be quite extensive, as Java is a versatile programming language with numerous features. However, I can provide you with a simple example that demonstrates some of Java's fundamental features. Let's create a program that defines a class, uses inheritance, interfaces, exceptions, and basic I/O:

import java.io.*; import java.util.*; // Define an interface interface Shape { double calculateArea(); } // Create a class implementing the interface class Circle implements Shape { private double radius; public Circle(double radius) { this.radius = radius; } @Override public double calculateArea() { return Math.PI * radius * radius; } } // Create another class extending the Circle class class Cylinder extends Circle { private double height; public Cylinder(double radius, double height) { super(radius); this.height = height; } public double calculateVolume() { return calculateArea() * height; } } // Demonstrate exception handling class NegativeValueException extends Exception { public NegativeValueException(String message) { super(message); } } // Main class public class JavaFeatureDemo { public static void main(String[] args) { Scanner scanner = new Scanner(System.in); System.out.print("Enter the radius of the circle: "); double circleRadius = scanner.nextDouble(); try { if (circleRadius < 0) { throw new NegativeValueException("Radius cannot be negative"); } Circle circle = new Circle(circleRadius); System.out.println("Area of the circle: " + circle.calculateArea()); System.out.print("Enter the height of the cylinder: "); double cylinderHeight = scanner.nextDouble(); if (cylinderHeight < 0) { throw new NegativeValueException("Height cannot be negative"); } Cylinder cylinder = new Cylinder(circleRadius, cylinderHeight); System.out.println("Volume of the cylinder: " + cylinder.calculateVolume()); } catch (NegativeValueException e) { System.out.println("Error: " + e.getMessage()); } } }

This program demonstrates the following Java features:

  1. Class and object creation
  2. Inheritance (Cylinder extending Circle)
  3. Interface (Shape)
  4. Exception handling (NegativeValueException)
  5. Basic I/O using Scanner and System.out
  6. Method overriding (calculateArea() in Circle and calculateVolume() in Cylinder)

Talent is not Everything

Hello friends!

Think that you went to a concert and there you saw a very good tabla player playing the tabla on the stage and you are absolutely delighted to the tune of his tabla. After his performance, you have no words to tell how much you liked playing his tabla. We speak to ourselves that "Dude that man is so talented."

But is a talent the reason why a human being is able to perform so well? A study was done on many people where two tunes were heard to people. The first tune was said to be recorded by a talented musician and the second was recorded by a hardworking musician. 66% of the people liked the tune which was recorded by the talented musician, but the truth was that both the tunes were recorded by the same composer. There is a bias in our society from the talent side. We think that the great people who do great things are able to do it because those people are talented. But this is a big lie. Let's know how this is a big lie?.

First of all, we know what is talent?
The meaning of talent in our mind is the same as if a child learns to play the piano at a young age, or a child plays very good cricket or an artist succeeds very soon. But there is only one definition of talent - to learn any work or skill quickly. Like, suppose I and you both joined the same guitar class and both learned to play the guitar at the same time from the same teacher where there was no bias and in such a way if you learn to play the guitar quickly then you will definitely be talented. In talent, only the speed of learning is fast, but does the speed of learning only matter?

I am not saying that talent does not matter to anyone, I am saying to what extent the talent matters. The problem for most people is that if people see others successful, then they only care about the talent because that is the excuse we give us so that we don't feel bad about ourselves. If we speak about someone's talent, then we declare that person has born with talent, then I have an excuse for why I do not know the things that another human being does. We can ignore everything in which we have control and we continue to do the same thing and this causes us to fail.
What does it matter if the talent is not the only one?

Most people believe that if they have talent then definitely they will get success. But the truth is something else, it is an equation like -

Talent * Effort = Skill
 Skill * effort = Success

So suppose that you have a little talent in anything like painting and if you are not working hard in it, then nothing will happen from it.

It's a different matter that you can do a good painting from any ordinary people but will not be successful. But suppose you started working hard on your talent, in such a situation, slowly you have a skill because you have worked hard on it. Here effort counts twice in the equation, which is more important than talent. It depends on our ability how hard we can work, no matter how many thorns come in our way, and this ability is called GRIT.

GRIT means "patience" = passion + perseverance

Passion means what we feel about anything we like to do and perseverance means that how long we stay in anything. The more people have GRIT, the more people will be successful.

How do we know if we have GRIT or not?
First of all, those GRITs are those people who are GRITTY and they have 4 characteristics -
1. Interest and passion
2. Dedicated practice
3. Goal
4. Expect
Now the biggest question comes, can we achieve our GRIT?
Yes, we can achieve GRIT inside us, GRIT is there in all, in some there is more, in some have less. And that GRIT will meet us with interest and passion, dedicated practice, goals and hopes.

1. Interest and Passion - We have to do what we enjoy doing, like suppose you don't like programming at all, no matter how much effort you make, programming for you is going to be very difficult, say It means that we should learn only those what we like to do, then we can become GRITTY.

The passion is not a day's work, it's like a seed, which comes from the heart and constant effort which we have to water that seed in our work.

2. Effort - Effort does not mean that you keep doing the same thing over and over again Effort means trying to learn other things as soon as you are expert in one thing.

3. Goals - You should have a very big goal which covers all your small goals.

For example - we cannot say that we have to earn 1 crore rupees from public speaking, this was not your big goal.

The biggest goal is that in which you decide that you have to help one million people and they have to cooperate in moving forward. Below this goal you can have small goals like earning lots of money, hiring many people etc. And below these small goals, there may be many other small goals, but the important thing is that all these small goals should move towards that very big goal. It is important for us to identify our very big goal only then we will be able to achieve our GRIT.

4. Hope - People who are GRITTY have hope that they will definitely become successful one day and due to this hope, they keep trying. Even if they are not successful enough, they still keep trying.

Most GRITTY people are optimistic. They think that if I have trouble today, it is not necessary that this problem will always be there and some solution will be found out. But at the same time, pessimistic people just keep cursing themselves and their luck, they feel that there is no solution to any problem, only then these people are unable to try to do something right and go into depression.

We have to believe that we can move forward in every area of life and we have to be optimistic and just keep trying in our interest, this will make us GRITTY and help us succeed.

Man's search for meaning

Hello friends!
During the time of the Holocaust in 1940, Victor Frankl spent many years in the concentration camp as a prisoner in which he and his family were imprisoned and their family was killed.

They were kept in very dirty condition with the rest of the prisoners. He and the other prisoners were to work for 16 hours, were mentally and physically tortured, even in the cold winter clothes were not given to the prisoners and food was not served properly. Sometimes people died due to lack of food, many people died due to poisonous gas, and many prisoners would die only after losing their courage. Weak and non-working prisoners were put to death in the gas chamber. Exactly, Victor's life was full of meaning because he was a neurologist and psychologist, due to which his every new day was quite interesting because every kind of people behaviour was seen.

Like him, the attitude of those who were not losing their reason for living even after so much trouble was such that they were looking at the situation as a challenge that they had to overcome. Every human being courage and dreams were snatched away in that camp.

And what was left with them is how they react to every human being in that situation, and that is existentialism means "to live means to suffer" and to stand in suffering. Finding Meaning in Your Suffering. If there is a purpose in our life, then obviously there will be some meaning for our sufferings, but no one can tell this because every human's life has a different purpose, his job is to find the purpose of his life and his taking responsibility. It is not necessarily what we expect from life, it is necessary what life expects from us. Instead of asking ourselves the meaning of life, we have to look at life in such a way that life is asking us every moment what we want to contribute to our life. It is important how we can take the burden of our life. Because a person who has any meaning or purpose in life, can live and face any trouble that comes in his life.

A strong "why" to live for -

There was a prisoner with Victor who had a dream in the last of February that a voice came out to ask what to ask - when that prisoner asked when he would come out from here, a voice came out that "by 30 March you will out of here." After that, the prisoner was confident that he would leave by March 30, when the month of March was over, the prisoner felt that he could not be released, then on March 29, he read ill and on March 30, he died, it seemed that he was ill, he died of a virus called typhus, but Victor knew that he died due to hopelessness. Cheating, betrayal, the challenge does not kill a person but hopelessness kills a human being.

Victor noted that most people died during Christmas and New Year because people thought that at least they would be relieved in Christmas or New Year, but it did not happen and they died in hopelessness. Whenever a person's hope ends, his immune system becomes weak and when a person's immune system is weak, he can die from any minor disease.

During his work, Victor also noticed in some of his patients that those who have no meaning or purpose in their life would easily get angry, get addicted to bad things, and have depression. With this, Victor has also said that purpose does not mean comfortable life, success or money, but when our life becomes a little comfortable then we are not constantly fighting to live, then a question comes in our mind that we Why stay alive? Nowadays, it is seen in most people that nowadays people have the means to live, but there is no reason to live. And those who do not have a purpose, their life is empty, which Victor has named, existential Vaccum, people who are victims of this emptiness, these 3 symptoms are seen. 1.Depression
2. Angry
3. Bad addiction

Based on people's observation, Victor gave birth to a therapy called "logotherapy" which means Meaning Therapy. This therapy used to help people to understand the purpose of their life. And these objectives can be found in some ways -

1. To do something or to pursue a goal - because a person who does not have any purpose in life ruins his entire life wandering aimlessly. Every person has the ability to cooperate with something different that comes out only when he sets a target and gives birth to something new which is made only by his experience, attention and understanding. Victor says that whatever we are passionate about, we should make it our life's mission.

2. Making good relationships - According to Victor, the definition of relationship is slightly different from others. According to him, making love is not simply a loving feeling while love is recognizing the potential of others and helping them to reach their highest potential. Like making opportunities for your child, convincing your siblings about life, supporting friends in bad times and mentoring your juniors in your team so that they can muster up the courage to live well in the world. This is love, if you are not raising the level of others, then it is not loved, it is just a transaction. Good relationships enhance the quality and productivity of our lives. It is a path that gives us a chance to understand the deepest parts of others. No human can be aware of the nature of others unless he loves it and that should be the aim of all our relations. If there is no purpose in our life, then we have to find someone whose life we can improve.

3. Change Yourself Not the Situation - We all know that in many things happening in our life, we don't have control like traffic, rain, death of someone, economy, thinking of other people and even in our body. We can't control 90% of the things that happen, but we keep trying to control the same, in which we have no emphasis. If we can control something thing, it is ourselves - if it is raining we can enjoy getting wet, eat pakoras, enjoy the music if there is traffic if we don't like the behaviour of others, so we can ignore that, if a close person has died, then you can convince yourself that death is a natural process that will come for everyone.

4. To bear your sufferings with bravery and take responsibility for it -

Victor cites his example of how he imagined himself to have finished his book upon leaving the place, even after so much torture, lecturing people to the experience of this torture that filled all their grief and pain.

Every moment of theirs, they were cutting very alertly, in this way they were understanding the thinking of the people and defeating their sufferings. It is those sufferings that make us mentally strong.

We can't ignore our problems and disappointments, but suffering is a choice that depends on whether we curse our fate by comparing our suffering and pain to a more fortunate person or we see the lives of those people whose experiences are worst than us and we feel lucky for our lives.

When a person encounters a problem, then he means that he gives positive or gives negative as well as he gives these meanings that make our problems easy or difficult.

When we go out of the house to go, we see that the tire of our car is punctured, then we get angry that "it had to be punctured and the whole mood was spoiled", this was our negative meaning, we can call it positive by - nature has prevented me from going, maybe I could have an accident. If the car had run at a high speed and then the tire of the car would have punctured, then my accident would have been fixed.

A person living in every corner of the world faces this fate, whether it is in the concentration camps or in his normal life suffering, the meaning can be found. The condition is that instead of giving up or complaining, we have to find the light that can beat this darkness.

Mini Habits

Hello friends!
Today we will learn about those small habits, due to which we can change ourselves completely positive. These habits are so small that it will take only 1-5 minutes daily to make them.

Bruce Lee stated that "concentration is the root of all higher abilities in humans"

Time is worth as much as we pay attention to that time -

Today, if a player is playing cricket in the Indian cricket team, he has been able to reach there only and only because of his concentration on cricket for many years. If the player who is in the Indian cricket team, he would have thought of becoming a singer, dancer, footballer in between, then today he wouldn't probably be a part of that team. To date, we have been taught that time is more expensive than gold, which is a lie, but there is no cost of time, the only price is attention. Time will be as precious as we give him attention.

For example - many students studying in the same class, at the same time and from the same teacher, but why don't all have the same marks? Time is not priceless but the priceless is attention because the children who brought more marks gave attention in their class so that they would be able to remember more and more, while the students who brought fewer marks gave less attention in their class.
Better work can only happen when we are 100% attentive while doing that work.

The University of Chicago researcher travelled around the world to find out when people give their best efforts in their work and after 20 years of his deep research, he discovered that people use their awareness and attention only when they are in the "Flow" state. Flow is a situation in which people become so involved in their work that they don't have any other thing for them, then it is such a great experience that people will want to experience that work at any cost.
Whenever we experience the flow state, then we become fully engaged in the task, we don't care about time, we find everything easy, every step of us gives us the way to our next step and everything just flows.

People know the flow state by different names - like psychologist called it - Peak experience, Athelts is - in the zone and Jazz musicians call it - in the pocket. After studying the top business executives for ten years, McKinsey & Company came to know that being in the flow increases our productivity not only by 100-200% but by 500% but we can experience this flow state only when we are working. But our problem is that we don't feel like working.

Procrastination is a very big problem in which we get used to postponing work. 80-90% of the students postpone their reading which wastes a third of their day. We can stop laziness and avoidance in two ways -
1. Motivation
2. WillPower

1. Motivation -
Motivation is a limited resource that changes frequently. Like, after taking inspiration from someone, we decided that we would wake up every morning and do 100 pushups and chances are that we will give up by doing 20 pushups or do this habit for 3-4 days only.

And return to the old days and inspiration finished. Creating a good habit requires more willpower than motivation. Inspiration is a good thing, but we are motivated about the same things that we like, for example playing favorite games, going around, etc. But if we have to clean the room, then we will not get inspiration.

2. WillPower -
If we keep a big target to change our habit from the beginning, then our will power will not support it either. Just like if we want to do 100 pushups in a single day, we will not be able to do it, if we want to meditate 30 minutes on the first day, then we will not be able to do it. So we have to start these habits with small habits which we just start doing something small. If we want to do daily push-ups, then we have to get in the habit of doing 5 push-ups daily, this will also support our willpower.

If we keep doing any such habit gradually, then the time of doing any habit will also increase gradually. We have to start doing any work in such a small way, that work should be done from us anyhow. Like if we have to research any topic, then we have to search for only one website thoroughly. We will be able to give 100% effort and we will continue to have a good habit.

Whatever work you want to do, the first step to start that work is to reduce it to the extent that you feel stupid. Just like if you want to build a 50-story building and if you collect only 5-10 bricks now, then it is perfectly right because you have at least started any of your work whether that work may be small.

Such stupid short work produces an effect called the Zeigarnik effect. It is a psychological phenomenon that says that we remember incomplete work more than the completed work. So once we start working, we are forced to complete it.

We must make work so easy that we cannot say no to work. We keep avoiding work to start because we feel inside that maybe this work will not be completed in such a short time from us. That is what scares us inside and creates laziness in us.

The only way to avoid and eliminate laziness is to drive away from the fear of failure "- for which we need an expectation that" yes we can do it "and that expectation will come from doing a small stupid part of any task And in the same way, we can end our avoidance and laziness by resorting to small habits and stupid small work.

Stillness is the key

Hello friends!
The most important thing in the world is the stability of the mind.

All the world-class artists, leaders, players, authors, creative persons have one thing in common in which people of different religions of the world know by different names but it means the same "Stability".

Stability means the art of keeping your mind calm/stable even in the worst of situations.

We all need peace, but those who want to do something different, want to produce remarkable work and those who don't want to live life in default mode and need peace/stability the most who want to design their life by own. This is not something that only saints or ascetics should know, but it is an art that you can learn in your field, in your life, you can find relationship, money, happiness, fame, mastery and more. This art has been hidden from the common people to date because applying it in real life can give extra-ordinary results whether we are a plumber or president peace/stability matters a lot in our life.

Right now we are all living in a noisy world where everything is just wanting our attention at all times, we are not far away from messages, notifications, news, etc. Today, anyone can disturb us whenever he wants and every time arguments and updates are roaming around us. History says that it is very difficult to control peace of mind by controlling your mind, but for the masters to believe that by dedication and instruction, we can find peace. Apart from meditation and many other day-to-day activities, we can find peace, there are 3 ways -

1. Manage your inputs -
In 1990, scientists learned from "CNN EFFECT" that 24/7 breathless media coverage, updates, and flow of information do not inspire us to do anything other than being reactive.

Today we have more and more information and entertainment available than we do not need and since ancient times our brain is built on certain patterns, it wants novelty and entertainment every time that the more we consume the information, the more our chances of survival will increase, so we spend our precious time in media dramas and distractions such as news, social media, web series, TV and others.

The American economist and cognitive psychologist says that "a wealth of information creates a poverty of attention". Like when we have so many options for anything, we don't live in one or two options, looking for good and options Go on watching. Which in the end wastes a lot of time and we have trouble in being stable in any one thing because we didn't train ourselves to do any one thing by stabilizing our mind. The solution to this problem can be found - Through low-information-diet.

Low-information-diet means fasting for the mind. Due to the Internet, our daily media consumption has increased a lot, in which unhealthy things such as common news, chatty news, things about the personal lives of others, and such things are told which you will get by thinking that you will not gain anything by getting that information.

People have started going to the gym to keep their body healthy, started drinking green tea, and also started paying attention to the diet, they have all control over what will go in their body, but they don't have a single control for their mind. Right now we can be manipulated by anyone from the screen we are seeing.

Right now we are living in a time where the screen is more dangerous than nuclear bomb because this screen makes people laugh, cry, feel good, and can be easily provoked against anyone. Sometimes a small notification button becomes a reason to waste our hours. Therefore, by controlling our urges and learning to ignore, we can get mental toughness and a stable mind that can work easily.

For Example, we eat only good fruit, we don't eat rotten fruit, we throw it away, in the same way, we have to apply the habit of looking at the same fruit in the information consumption. Like, before reading a blog, article, or news, the action is to be taken, in that case, our mind will become much clearer thinking than before. How often do we see that the owners of big companies always keep personal assistants for themselves because they consider their time very valuable and in such a way, whenever anyone comes and disturbs them, they will never produce great work. To prevent many such disturbances their assistants are playing a role for the gatekeeper.

There is a saying - garbage in garbage out - that means to get an Extraordinary result, we have to Keep a close watch on our input because the better the raw material is, the better the product becomes.

2. get rid of your stuff -
Mental and spiritual clarity we can achieve only when our physical things don't need our attention because the best car is not the one that we and other people can see but the best car is the one that we don't have to take care the most.
In the same way, the best clothes aren't those which are of the expensive brand but the best clothes are those in which we are comfortable.

Many times we buy very expensive things and later on to take care of that thing becomes a big headache for us as if I bought a car but I have to take care of it. So we should never buy such things with money, after which we have to serve it to keep it good. Meaning, the more things we have, we will keep thinking about them, how to take care of all the things.
Saying is that - an intelligent person makes things a slave, the same foolish person becomes a slave of things.

3. Build a routine -
Some people start questioning as soon as they wake up in the morning when to get up, what to wear, what to eat, etc. All these questions don't make our brain think anything else, so it is important to make a routine.

Our body activities will be familiar with the routine, only then our brain can relax and that monotony becomes our muscle memory.

As many times we don't know when we have reached home while walking. Anything from the past process our body muscle memory is formed which does its work because our body is familiar with muscle memory activities, our brain also can work in deep thinking.

Wherever we look, successful people have their own routine and that is also the reason for their strength. Stillness can only be achieved by meditation, it is wrong to say. The ways to achieve stability may vary, but the outcome is the same - strength, mental toughness, happiness, control over emotions, and inner peace. In this busy 21st century, it can become our unique skill, so that we can easily control any situation by thinking with clarity even in high-pressure situations.

How to become an Essentialist

Hello friends!

If you feel that you get very little time for your work, which makes you confuse and refuse to achieve much, then this topic is for you and for this we have to pay attention to some things like - Essentialism

What is essentialism?
Essentialism is a systematic discipline that teaches where you should invest your time and energy to achieve the highest level.

1. Become the editor of your own life - Say "I have to do" rather than "I have chosen to do it" -

We often say that I have to do this work, I have to go there, etc. But by saying so, we are forgetting an important thing that we always have a choice whether to do any work or not. We have to choose the work that is necessary for us.

Like, Blockbuster movies are ruthlessly edited before release so that the audience can understand the story better. So the editor removes all the scenes which are not necessary.

Today's time busy lifestyle has become a status symbol because people have heard that it is necessary to do hard work to get something in life, which makes them feel hard work to be busy and all the offers, projects, opportunities they get are put in their already filled to-do-list. Here hard work is not described as wrong but hard work in the wrong way is a waste of time and energy.

For example- Suppose a man runs 1km in all directions from a point, but he ran 4 km still, he ran only one km in one direction from his starting point. While another man ran 4km from one point in only one direction, that man must have gone 4km in that direction from his starting point. In both these cases, the input was one but there was a huge difference in the output. So what things you ignore are as important as what things you choose.

2. We can't do everything -

Most people who are non-essentialist think that they can solve all the problems and if they are given 3-4 problems then they will think that they can solve all the problems. In such a situation, either they will not be able to work or they will do it in an average way. But an essentialist knows that all the problems cannot be solved and something will definitely remain, he asks himself which problem he would like to take, which means he is choosing which work to do and which not.

Being busy all the time does not mean that you are working productively. If you think deeply, you will realize that most of your work is not necessary as much as we consider those works to be necessary.

You must have heard about the Pareto principle that 80% of your results come from only 20% of your efforts and the remaining 20% results from 80% of your efforts. But, being busy all the time, most people focus on 80% efforts that will give them 20% results, no matter how hard they try, they are never able to achieve what they want to achieve and that is why they leave that work. There is no doubt that people work hard but heroic results will be achieved by working in the right things and not on all things. You must have also seen that the lift in the building comes up by pressing the correct button and not by pressing all the buttons. So you need to know that which is 20% effort which will give you 80% results.

First of all, we should understand that we do a business of our time and energy at all times. Whenever you say yes to anything, then inadvertently you speak no to rest work which may be important for you.

Let's take an example - Suppose if your friend calls you to visit and watch the film, then if you say yes, then at the same time you are inadvertently speaking no to the rest of the work. If you don't choose where your time and energy should be used, then someone else will choose for you such as your boss, your friends, colleagues, etc. and you will not want to see this happen.

3. Learn to say "No" -
Art designer Paul Rand who designed logos of companies like IBM, ENRON, ABC, Westinghouse. But he refused to make a logo for Steve Jobs because Steve Jobs wanted a variant of the logo from Paul Rand for the logo of his company NEXT, but Paul said that he would not create that variant, and also said that if he wanted the option/variant, he could go to someone else, but later Paul Rand made the same logo according to Steve Jobs' requirement. Steve Jobs liked very much and he also admitted that Paul Rand was the most professional person among those working with him, it was a great experience of his life.

Significantly, when Paul Rand said no to Steve Jobs, for a short time he became unpopular in the mind of Steve Jobs but in the long-term, he got respect from Steve Jobs and the Apple company also launched a poster of Paul Rand's think different.

It must have happened to you that you don't want to speak "yes" to anyone, but to make him happy you would have said "yes" to him and would later regret that if you had not said "yes", it would have been right. Sometimes it can be difficult to say "No" to people because you think that maybe it will spoil your relationship but if you want to be effective then you have to learn it. There is no doubt that because of this, you will be unpopular for a short time, but it will be very effective in the long-term. You have to remember that you are rejecting that person's request and not that person. You can use any of these methods to say "No" to people.

Such as -
Artificial Delay - Whenever you are not 100% sure in saying "yes" to a person's request, then try this method. Tell the person that "I have much other important work is still pending, so I can't promise you right now, but I will definitely tell you by checking the schedule". So that you can think about that request whether or not that request is essential for you.

Suggest Someone Else - If anyone offers you something in which you are not interested at all and you think that someone else will be genuinely interested in that offer, then you can suggest that offer to an interested person. You don't have to say no to everyone, say "no" to the thing that is non-essential for you so that you can say "yes" to those things that matter most in your life. As you continue to work in your essential things, you will continue to progress in your field. Then you will get many opportunities and more and more people will want to work with you.
But if you do not recognize your essential and non-essential things then this success can also cause you to fail which is called Paradox of success.

4. Setting boundaries - You have to do all those essential things every day with a routine.

Reason for Living

Hello friends!
If I tell you that we can live for more than 100 years and always be stress-free, will you listen to me?

A woman was in a coma on the island of Japan, she dreamed that she has died and has reached heaven, where she gets the voice of her ancestors and they ask who are you?

The woman replies that she is the wife of the mayor, then a voice comes that we have not asked whose wife you are. We have asked who you are? The woman then replies that she is the mother of 4 children. Then the voice comes that we have not asked whose mother you are, we have asked who you are? The woman then replies that she is a school teacher, then the voice comes that we did not ask what work you do We have asked who are you? In this way the woman gave many answers, she told her name, religion, and many other things but couldn't tell who she is?

Finally, the woman replied that "I am the one who gets up every day to take care of my family, I am the one who teaches children and makes them a good mindset". The woman's answer was accepted and she came out of a coma. After a few days she recovered, this whole incident made the woman understand the purpose of her life, after which she started taking more care of her family and started teaching children more thoroughly. The woman had found her IKIGAI. After that, every person on that island considered it very important to know their IKIGAI. The incident took place on Okinawa island in Japan where everyone lives their life only after finding their IKIGAI.

Even today, the people of Okinawa island are healthier and happier than the rest of the world, they won't fall ill easily and they have longer lives than the lives of the rest of the world. Many things on that island are better than the rest of the world. For this reason, Okinawa island is also called the land of immortals where people never die or live more than their age. Experts say that the people there find their IKIGAI and spend their life accordingly.

IKIGAI is a Japanese word meaning - the reason for living or the purpose of living.

Japanese believe that every human being has an IKIGAI which they can only get after understanding themselves. It is very difficult to find IKIGAI, people's whole life also goes out to find it.

If we do any work without IKIGAI then we will not enjoy it and we will always be under stress so that our mind will always be in search of our IKIGAI all the time.

How to know your IKIGAI?
Some formulas for IKIGAI to know are -

1. We have to find out which work we like to do best -
Many things in our life make us happy, such things that we get pleasure from doing, even if we start thinking about that work, then we forget everything. It is a flow state like reading, writing, acting, dancing, playing songs or singing, etc. It is easy to know because it gives us a positive feeling that if we feel good by doing some work then that work can help us to find our IKIGAI.

2. In which work are we good -
This is the work in which we are well aware of the work, that is, even if we are no experts in any work, at least good towards that work.

3. What work does the world need in today's time
4. The work that we make money

We will be able to find our IKIGAI only when these 4 formulas complete each other, otherwise, we will not get our IKIGAI. Like let's say I like to sleep and I am also an expert in sleeping, but the world has nothing to do with my sleep, and neither I can earn money by staying asleep..

But if I like teaching and I am also interested in teaching and the world needs a good teacher and I can earn money by teaching people. So this is my IKIGAI.

Let's take another example. Sachin Tendulkar loves to play cricket and he also specializes in playing cricket and the world loves cricket and he earns money in cricket itself.

Now we understand our passion, profession, vocation, and mission from IKIGAI -

1. Passion - Just like if I like to dance and I am an expert in dancing then that is my passion.

2. Profession - Just like if I like to dance and I am earning money by dancing then that is my profession.

3. Vocation - Just like I am getting the money to dance and if the world likes to dance then that is my business.

4. Mission - Just like I like to dance and the world also loves it, so it is my mission.
To know our IKIGAI, we need to know our passion, profession, vocation, and mission.

Many people do not know their passion, profession, vocation, and mission because they don't know themselves, first of all, we have to know ourselves.
We can find our passion by looking at some things -
1. I like a job and I also specialize in it
2. I do not like any work but I do that work
3. I like a job but I don't know how to do it
4. I don't even like it and neither I know how to do that work
In this, we will look at the first and third, which we are interested in, but we can learn it.

We have to do DISC test to know ourselves better, in which we will be able to know our personality, and for this, we have to ask ourselves how we are -

1. Outgoing / Reserved - First of all we have to see that we are outgoing and we like to go out, meet people or we are reserved and we like to spend more time with ourselves or with certain people.

2. People-Oriented / Task Oriented - People Oriented people think more about others than they care about others, like if the boss of a company is people-oriented, then they will think that the people working in its office will not have any problem or those people can work well or not. Whereas Task-Oriented people think more about the task whether the task is done well or not, whether the work is being done on time, whether the quality of work is good or not.

From the answers to these questions, we just have to see ourselves honestly about how our personality and our behavior is. 4 types of personality traits come out from the answers to these questions - DISC

Dominating from D - If we are Outgoing and Task-Oriented then our personality is Dominating. Dominating people work on time and get them done, once they take up any work then they just finished it and such people nice to be in a leadership position.

Inspiring from I - These people are outgoing and people-oriented, these people inspire others with their work and talk, such people are good at talking more on ideas and values. These people are always willing to help others and have positive thinking.

Supportive from S - People who are reserved and people-oriented are people who like to work together. These people are also polite and sensitive.

C to Cautious - People who are reserved and task-oriented are cautious, such people are very careful and cautious. They focus on quality or want perfection in every work, they don't like to make mistakes and they are experts in their work.

So these were DISC personality types, everyone has all these personality traits, some have less and some have more. Now you think yourself and be honest and find out what and how you are of personality and which personality traits are most among you more. It will help us to know ourselves with which you will get your IKIGAI, only then you will be able to do your work stress-free according to your IKIGAI, which will get both happiness and money.
