Power of self discipline

Hello friends!
There are three major areas of our life - personal success, career, and overall happiness. How do we apply self-discipline in these three?

We all dream that we will definitely fulfill our dreams one day, for example - I will become a successful entrepreneur, I will become a successful singer, etc ...

So do we really work to fulfill our dreams?

Someday island someday - It happens if someone asks us when we will start working to fulfill our dreams?


So the answer of 70% of people is that "I will definitely do something one day, I will start my practice next week, I will do it tomorrow, I will do it after my exams are finished ... etc"

But the truth is that it never comes one day because 60% of those people have the disease which is called Excusitis means not working for the dream by making Excuse. Those people who fight with this disease are Winners, while those who beat this disease also become Losers. So to get out of this disease, first of all, we have to get out of this excuse island - which I will do one day. How many times do we also think that "No my reasons are genuine I do not give an excuse, but in reality, I do not have time yet, no money, no good connections to people to do business, etc..."

In such a question, we should ask ourselves, if there is not a single person who has seen the same problem in his life, whoever is busier than us, still has time to fulfill his dream, who has created a good business even when there is no money. If we search for such people, then we will find many people whose problems were our problems, even their problems were more than our problems, yet they made themselves better and are pursuing their dreams.
 So instead of giving us an Excuse, we have to start taking action.

Law of least resistance:-
Suppose someone gives us two paths like 1. Book reading, 2. To roam around.


So most people do not go first and they will go in a second way, even our brain always forces us to do easy work when we know that this simple task will not give us success, yet we do the same and Self-discipline is very important to avoid this.

Self-discipline means the difficult path but it will take us to our dreams.
For example, If I want to be a successful singer then I have to practice singing everyday then only a tone will come in my voice. And with continuous practice, I will also get confidence and I will be able to be successful in singing. Daily practice is the first path which not everyone does. These are some ways of applying self-discipline in our life with which we can make Disciplined ourselves.

1. Self-discipline and Success - Success has only three requirements: -



  • You decide what you want
  • Then decide what you will give in return to get what you want, what you will sacrifice
  • Make sure you can sacrifice and do sacrifice and complete your work



2. Self-discipline and Character - Our character is formed by our personality and there are three parts of personality: -
1. Self-idea - This is the part of our brain in which the values, goals, ideals, aspirations of our idea live, we can say that we want to be the ideal person who according to us is perfect.

2. Self-image - Our self-image is like a mirror in which we see ourselves how exactly we are like good, bad, confident, fearful, positive, negative, etc. We all see. However, we should be calm, positive, like a good person in self-image which will make us feel like a powerful person.
3. Self-esteem - It is the feeling that tells us how much we like ourselves or not. What we think about ourselves, how important we think ourselves. If we like ourselves then obviously our self-esteem will be high and if we dislike ourselves then our self-esteem will remain low. As much as we like ourselves, others will also like us, meaning to like ourselves is also a part of the discipline.

No matter how human we are, our character is still made due to our choices because we humans are very choosing creatures. Choices that improve or give us a higher value - like I chose to play the game instead of reading, it was my choice. The choice of right or wrong choice goes ahead and becomes our character.
The right choices increase our self-esteem and wrong choices decrease our self-esteem. So we should always pay attention to our choices.

3. Self-discipline and work - In working with discipline, two things should be noted: -
1. Ability to set priority - to do those works first, whose values ​​are high.
2. Discipline - to finish that high-value work well and quickly.
 This makes easy by the law of three:-
1. Make a list of all the important things that we want to complete in a week.
2. Then select the top three activity among them which we think will add the most value in completing our goals.
3. Start speaking NO to distractions.

4. Different from all: -
1. Come a little early
2. Work a little harder than others
3. Wait a little longer
4. Here we are talking about the Pareto principle, here 80% of the results are due to our 20% actions (20% actions = 80% results) means we should do the work which is giving us more results.

Because most people will not do all these things and when we do this, we will be ahead of others which will increase our self -discipline and will help us to become successful.
